Pre-made Cookie Dough v. "Homemade" Cookie Dough - Which Makes The Cut?

Vs.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year"...well, for me it is. This time each year is when I can shine brighter then any Christmas decor out, where my warmth comes not only from being around my family and friends but from the kitchen oven as well. While other people get a kick out of shopping, putting up lights, singing Christmas carols ; my joy comes from baking cookies.
Each year while everybody else is wrapping up last minute gifts, stuffing stockings, watching Christmas movies or just singing Christmas carols I'm always the one stuck in the kitchen making cookies. I don't mind it though, it's always funny to see which family member will rush over to the new baked batch burning their mouths from their greed. However, as mentioned before my only source of cookie dough is the pre-made cookie dough by Pillsbury or Nestle. I mean of coarse Grandma attempted to show me how to make homemade cookies but at the time I wasn't interested, the homemade process took too long and I wanted cookies NOW! Needless to say I regret taking the easy way out, so this year I've decided to take a different approach to my baking and use the homemade recipe.
Over the weekend my aunt, my mother, and I were shopping in the local Target. Almost immediately I found my way to the kitchen section and within minutes I made my way back to the shopping cart with the biggest box of cookie cutters known to man. My mom stopped me dead in my tracks. "And what do you think you're doing?" she inquired, already knowing the answer. "Mom, I want..no NEED these to bake cookies this year for Christmas." ,I pleaded. Which then arose the question, which dough would be best to bake with using cookie cutters - pre-made or homemade cookie dough? Well this Christmas eve I plan to find out exactly which one makes the cut and I'll be sure to blog the results :)

Hopefully , with my project I will be able to produce delectable, creative desserts. I will like to experiment with fruit and food to make the best pastries known to man. Of coarse, I don't think I will resort to candid bacon or spam as an additive but I strive to find my "niche".

Kite Runner Project

For my Kite Runner Project I would like to the photography portion of the project. I find this the most interesting because of the fact the book is very descriptive and I like the challenge of interpreting what I read to fit the description of the book. Hopefully, I'll be successful .
